Does anyone know of any Ball Python Breeders In Hong Kong or China?

avdnco Sep 28, 2005 08:23 AM

I know there are quite a few in Europe and Japan. Looked on line, but couldn't find any in Hong Kong or China .
Thanks!

Travel on business there (way too) often.
Thought it might be nice if I could get a Ball python "Fix"
when I'm over there....

that said he used to live in Hong Kong(I think his name was lao or lau or something like that) and that people there weren't really into the snakes. I don't think it's as big of a deal there as it is in some other countries but it is a good question.

Thanks. for your advise.
I have a sneaking suspicion that you are correct...
Getting the feeling that their only interest in snakes might be for traditional medicine....(poor snakes!) Just read that "snake Powder" cures acne....
Of course the tiger fairs much worse, seems that the male tiger 'organ' is chinese traditional medicine answer to viagra....

In general, in China I think they EAT snakes!! Seriously though, I think them and Japan are more into insects and amphibians.
