The story I got on this girl was typical of someone who doesn't know how genetics work. I got her in trade and just liked the looks of her. The guy I got her from said she came from an albino to albino breeding and she's a possible het. I'm doubtful of that genetic story but I think she has a great pattern and good coloring at the very least.

I love Colombians with clean rich color, the pattern anomoly is a nice touch.

Obviously did not come from an Albino to Albino breeding or she would be albino. If there were albino gene(s) in the breeding there are only a few combinations:

Albino x het or normal = 100% het for albino

Het x Het = 67% het

Het x normal = 50% het

those numbers are only for your "normal looking" baby.

the % refers to the statistical percentege of normal looking babies that should have the albino gene.

Of course she could be the result of some %het breeding which, unless some albino's were produced would make it even harder to figure out an accurate %het

Bottom line....she's a pretty girl!!
