Western prices always seem to be diff

candb Sep 28, 2005 09:54 PM

I have noticed that many people sell the normal westerns at incredibly different price ranges, from $50 up to $200. What is the normal going price, i thought it was around 50 or 60 myself, but i may be wrong. Also what are the normally going prices of westerns at repticon shows, if anyone happens to know? Thanks.

Maybe I am over stating the obvious but are we talking about 05 babies, Sub adults or Adults. If adults are they male or female are they a proven breeder or not. On average babies are 50 to 75 plus shipping. Sub adults 90 to 110 plus shipping. Adults 125 to 150 plus shipping. Proven breeders 150 to 250 plus shipping. Extra large female 30in. + as high as 350 plus shipping. Also what time of the year may be a factor? Prices above reflect captive bread animals that are not het. for anything and normal coloring. Other factors are how well the individual is feeding. Prices at shows may reflect employee, travel, hotel and show cost 200 to 700 depending on space. I really don’t now if that is a factor in price I just thought about it as I was typing. Just my experience, observations and so on. Rambling Tom
