I've seen my baby Blood resting inside her water bowl a couple of times already...is it normal.? (the humidity is 60%-70%).

Yeah it's normal and it can go for days at a time.

One of my young bloods spent almost a week sitting in her water dish recently. Humidity is fine she just liked it there I guess. If I took her out she would be just go right back. She fit in there really nicely, so maybe it was cozy. -chris-

Bloods do enjoy soaking; just make certain she isn’t soaking to drown mites. I see a response regarding a blood soaking for a week. That seems a bit much; is there a hide box available? Snakes will sometimes “hide” in the water bowl if there is no other alternative. A water bowl is not an appropriate hide box.

My blood usually hides in her warm, moist hide. She has a cool, moist hide and a dry hide and a water bowl. She just chooses to go in to her moist hide most of the time
