Does anyone know of a cheap and effective at-home-treatment for middle ear infection? I just took one of my red-eared sliders, Bonnie, to the vet where she stayed for a week, her ears (and my wallet) were lanced and drained and she received antibiotic injections. $250 later, there's still some swelling and she's due for a series of follow-up antibiotic injections; but I'm out of money. All suggestions are welcomed.
