We've decided to build a cage for our savannah monitor. But I have a question for anyone who's built one from scratch. How do you make it water proof? Lot's of lacquer??? The cage will be appt. 4 ft. deep x 8 ft. long. Any suggestions would be great. I've looked up pics in the photo gallery so I have lots of ideas but suggestions would be great.

showerboard is the easiest. any hardware will have it its between 10 and 15 bucks a sheet. glue it down with that adhesive you use in a caulk gun. and then caulk the corners

that shower bored works great you can get giant peaces of it just plain white at hoe depot for about 8$ , i used a finisher staple gun and when i colked the edges i just put a little on were the staples were, it really hold up good and looks good in the cage
