new cage NEED HELP

i got a new cage for my igg seymor but wasn't planning on moving him into it until i had it just right...well thats not going to happen because there is a big hole in the side of his cage now so he must move immediatly....What would be a quick and easy way to make shelves and lighting and all that good stuff in this cage that would be very inexpensive...the cage is actually a 5ft bird cage but it works! I posted a pic!!! HELP ME PLEASE
