refering to the post below, there has been a proven difference in snows that are homozygous for hypo vs. those that aren't then? the reason I ask is because I bred a male ghost to a female amel last year and this year. I was expecting normals but it turns out that each was het for the opposite amel/anery trait. I held back a male snow and noticed about 6-8 months ago that the saddles were turning a definate pink (or coral as I see people are calling them) in color. I assumed it to be the het hypo influence and was going to breed his mother to a hypo to see if she was het hypo also. I won't be able to that for another year or so at least (don't have a hypo male big enough yet). anyway, I assumed she is not het hypo because I didn't get any ghosts out of the clutches. just amels, anerys, snows, and normals. the only other noticable thing was with the anerys, they seem to lighten up a lot with each shed (but this is not uncommon from what I've heard). any opinions?
