I bought a reptarium for chamleon, and it says it can withstand any light and on the picture on the box, the lights are just sitting on the nylon. Does anyone here know if that's true or not? Thanks

Yes, i believe it to be true. Of course, i do use a maximum of 60 watt bulbs on my reptariums, so i don't know if it could withstand anything hotter. The colour does fade over time though, but it at least it won't fry.

Yes you can set the lamp on top. It will get discolored but will not burn. I used 150 watt lamps on mine. It will turn a red/orange color over time but thats it.
