I cook butternut squash in the microwave, but i just usally chop spaghetti squash up really fine. He can really chow it down though even if I left it in big hard pieces (crunchy).

I feed all veggies raw. If it's a hard veggie like squash I just cut it nice and thin with a pealer or food grater.

Hi.
New to the beardie thing but having had many "veggie lovin" lizards over the years i think i can pipe in here..

I always use raw squash, cooking can alter some of the beneficial vitamins in the plant. I also remove the skin since many squashes have a thick skin that can leave sharp edges, best to err on the side of caution imo, but soft stuff like zuccini i leave the skin on. You can either use a cheese grater or food processor as has been mentioned to get the right sized pieces. I find the food processor makes it really easy to get raw squash of any type to the right sized pieces.
