I have my first hatchling, Spike. My tank is set up with all the right stuff and he/she? is now eating a meal worm every other day. My question is what is a good vitamin A suppliment? I haven't found any in our local pet stores.

i use a dust made by T-rex that is made specifically for boxies.. it has vitamin A acetate in it.. im not sure what exactly that means.. but ive been using it for my older boxies for 2 years with no problems and i am now using it with my hatchling also..

the T-Rex website has a description and list of ingredients:

Rep-cal and Herptivite (both made by rep-cal) are mainstays in reptile keeping. I would recommend getting a container of each. Rep-cal is a calcium powder, and Herptivite is a multivitamin powder which contains Vit.A in the form of beta carotene. These products are well known and have earned a good reputation among turtle keepers.
