Assuming the lav floridana and lav. brooksi the same lavender gene than you would get all lavenders. A floridana king is the same thing as a brooksi. People refer to a brooksi as a south flordana version with high amounts of yellow.

A lot of Florida kings have been crossed with lavender Calif kings. Thoses genes may NOT be allelic and you will get all normal looking double homos.

The best thing to do is tell us who the snakes originated from. For instance a Terry Walter has lav florida king crossed with a cal kings, so the gene with a Tim Ricks animals is not compatiple. It is imorpatant to know who the snakes came from so you know what you can breed together.

Does your albino FL have red eyes?

It does not look pure but IMO its a very nice snake. Does it have red eyes? What about the lavender you mentioned, do you know its origins?

What I meant by red eyes are the clear blood red ones like you see on albino white mice. The snake you have pictured is a lavender. The pupil has a dark purple iris, not clear red.

If it was of mine then it must be a '04 yearling because I did not produce any in '03. It is a recult of sulfur lavender brooksi X anerythristic Florida king (sulfur lavender = Tim Ricks lavender x sulfur line) X (BHB anerythristic Florida king =anerythristic/axanthic het lavender. Your fermale is definte het for snow. The only other lavenders I produced that year were the sulfur lavenders. The female you have is not a sulfur lavender but my sulfur male was bred to an axanthic het for lav. So your female does have 1/4 sulfur in it.

Chances are if you breed your two floridanas together the pairing would produce normal looking floridana that are double homos. Also the snake in the other pic is most likely a cross with a calif king so you would be creating a mix(?)

I really like the look of the one you just ordered but it most likely is not allelic with the lavender gene of the one I produced.. My advice is to breed them and see what happens. I could be wrong and you get a nice surprise.

well shes older than that so it would seem that breeder thought enough of your lines to lie about them............. oh well she is a wonderful creature to say the least. Ill get up to date pics soon here is a green line het for hypo female wish i had a male to go with her (hint)
