South Florida EDB's

Canes05 Sep 30, 2005 01:20 PM

Got out and did a little field herping yesterday. Had a fantastic afternoon/evening, which was highlighted by my first Eastern Diamondback find in the field! After a short photo session it began to rain hard and I was ready to call it a day, completely happy with the outcome of the trip. As I got in the car and headed down the road I was stunned to see another big EDB smack in middle of the road, during a heavy rain! I had never seen one in the wild before yesterday, and I found 2 in about a half hour. I couldn't believe my luck. Just thought I'd share a couple pics with everyone.

Joe,

Very nice shots, I particularly like the one at the bottom! Very cool and congratulations on your finds!

Thanks for sharing the excellent photographs. It's good to see there are still adamanteus in south Florida. You really lucked out. Going from zero to two in such a short span of time is nothing short of amazing.
