MVB question...for Veronica from beautiful dragons...or anyone else with experience with MVB's

AlteredMind99 Sep 30, 2005 06:54 PM

Im thinking of getting Hanny a MVB bulb, but im hesitant because of the horror stories i have heard about the lamps that produce too much UVB.I have been getting opinions on the best/safest ones to use. So far i think im going to try the one from

www.reptileuv.tripod.com

are those any good?

Thanks guys!

Too much UVB?

You'll have to pardon my ignorance, but i've never heard of such a thing from a commercial bulb of any kind Mercury Vapour or otherwise. I would think that none can even come close to the sun, and our desert dwellers could use all the UVB they can get but perhaps i've missed some info lately??

At any rate this would be very useful information so hopefully there are some others responding.
