When I get a new snake - I usually do the general health check - take photos put it in it's tub and leave it for 2-3 days. After which time I feed it and leave it alone again for another 5 after which I'll take it out and start handling it and feed it again. Some take to their new environment quite readily and admittedly I've skinched on the time frame a little now and again, but its something you learn to read.

that het albino's are supposed to have lol.

If he's already fed for you I'd assume it would be safe to take him out and get to know him a little better, just don't make it so long that he get's stressed.

I'm sorry I don't know Joe, I was just stating that if I bought hets from someone that were unproperly sexed I might have my doubts, regardless of paperwork.

is there a mix up?
i bought this guy from Joe Compel. he is a very good breeder and a well known one too that is in jersey.
iam 100% possitive that this snake is a male, i have no doubts about it in my mind.
sorry if i said something to confuse you or anything

I think people are mixing up your two posts - I'm fairly certain that you can trust Joes ability to both sex the animal and proof of genectics. As far as the person who thinks a het albino needs to have a "jungle pattern" it doesn't. Hets look like any other normal and most likely get any conspicuous patterning from the normal bloodline bred into the albino. I have 3 het albinos they all look normal they all came from top notch breeders. Not to worry.

i was thinking that too, that maybe the person replyed to a different post? but i agree with you on the patterns. he does have alot of yellowing but other then that he looks like a normal.
thank you for your post
