what is the best boa for a first boa pet? common? and what is a commom? Bcc or Bci and if it's an Bci, then what locale? does it matter what the heck is the difference between this local and that locale as for temper, length and so on? is that any book that breaks this all down? any breeder the knows the differences and can say? are all of the BCI or Bcc going to get 8 feet long? what tempers do either have and what make any of then a good first boa pet for a newbie? There is a lot you can learn about Boas before you go get one (and that's the best way to do it). There are differences between Boas, size, care requirements, how they behave.

Yeah, I want a smaller, more docile snake. i've heard bci are so different from one locale to another. what would be the best? i do know that i slow growth with keeping them lean and feed a bit less often..or at least that's what i've been told.

I want either a tropical species or one i think is called a sonora. how does that sound? i first want to build the habitat first though so i am still learning about wood and to make the cabinetry. i'm either doing maple ply or using a stain so i have
some time to research. i was going to buy a Bci from AllBoas but then i heard about locale...
