anyone know any good tubs for maximum floorspace? the sterilites i am using now work fine, but i would rather the tubs be spacious than "neo-cool" looking if you know what i mean.

It would be helpful if you said which sterilite tub you are using that is "neo cool". They make a lot of different tubs in the same or nearly same size. One model goes to walmart and the similar one will go to Lowes. That way they offer similar but not identical products. I use the 1752, 1754, and 1756 models. There is a small ledge at each end which I don't like but they have lots of floor space. The ledge is not as bad as the similar model which has curved in sides at each with a large hand hold and larger ledge. Just not as square and harder to clean. The ones I use are easy to clean with mostly straight sides. Check out their website or go to a couple of stores to compare the larger tubs.

Gracious Living makes the largest "shallow" box that I know of. It's even bigger than the Iris CB-110, if I remember correctly.

But for a truely massive box, Reptiletubs.com carries an Xmas tree storage box. It's over 4' long but is also very deep. Check it out.

thanks for the input everyone. i found a pretty good sterilite tub at walmart of all places that seems to utilize alot of floorspace. i just needed something easier to maintain temps to house my ball pythons in while they are cooling. as for the large tub, i will have to check that out...i have a few burms that are growing FAST so that would be a real space saver (for a few months untile they outgrow it anyway hahaha) thanks again.
