>>HET. for blue.

Is the blue color a single gene recessive trait?

Sorry, my English is not that good......I'll hope I give the right answer.
The breeder had a blue female and a HET male. The hatchling are 1 of 10 blue. He never had a blue male and female so he don't know what that will give. So it is not like albino guttata's for example. 2 albino guttata give albino hatchlings. Prasina not.

So my couple is not sure if they turn out blue. I hope so of course. I'll just have to wait 1 year to see if they turn out blue. 1 hatchling, when it has eaten, I can see a lot of blue between the scales. The other one doen not have it. So maybe, when that one turn out to be blue, it is to see when they are hatchling. One thing is sure, they carry the gene of blue.

I understand your english fine and appreciate that you take the time to post. It will be interesting to see if your snake develops the blue coloration. I hope you keep us updated.
