which states are off limits?

Next year is going to be my first year breeding my western hogs, which states are off limits to sell to people in?

I don't think it is your problem.

If a state protects a W Hog, then the law states that it is illegal to be in possession of the species within the state boundaries.

States cannot prohibit you from sending the snake to that state (they don't regulate interstate commerce), they can only prohibit possession of that animal within the state. As long as the snake was legally possessed by you in the state you sent it from, there is no federal violation.

Of course, it is worth knowing so you can protect potential consumers of your babies, but I don't think you have any legal liability.
