Fat Belly

mcnugent Oct 01, 2005 12:51 PM

I think my BD's belly is messed up or something. It is very skinny up near his arms, and Very fat near his back legs. It does not even out. Does that mean anything and is it bad ?

Any way i can get a pic of some of ur Beardies bellys so i can make a comparison?

It's normal for bearded dragons to be bigger towards the hind legs. As long as they don't look bloated and the stomach isn't hard, if hard or abnormally bloated, I would take it to a vet, could be tumors, swollen organs etc. Or if female of the right age, could be eggs too.

sitting on my father's shoulder one afternoon when my parents decided to come over. She is, in fact, healthy, despite the fact that she has quite the love for food.
