More Pics, LAST clutch of the season

Rick Millspaugh Oct 01, 2005 01:26 PM

No more exciting surprisses for the year, at least for my Thayeri. Here are male Milksnake Phase. There are some nice head patterns in this clutch and check out that Aztec tail pattern on the middle dude. Thayeri are sooo habit forming. I keep noticing all kinds of suttle things in all their patterns. Hope you like them (I do).

Here is a Female Milksnake phase and my favorite from the clutch, a thin black band, Thin saddle, split saddle, White male with a cool head pattern. What do I do with this one? So many favorites and so little room (I hate boundaries). If it was a female I would think about doubling up but two males together never works well (in my experience), one is always "sub-dominate" to the other.

You're shipping me on Monday!

Very nice little male, and the female is great too.

Out of sight out of mind (lol). They just shed so I have not even had a chance to feed them yet. We could talk though if you are serious.

WOW....IF that last one was a female I would send you a check....LOL
I have a weak spot for keyholed or hallow saddles....very nice Rick.....Looks like you got a bunch of nice MSPs in that clutch along with that nice light one with the hallow saddles.....
I know you probably already showed us, but what were the parents?
Both leonis? both MSPs or 1 of each?

Great Job Rick,

John,
The father was the orange Leonis that I have shown before, the mother was a nice Milksnake phase, seems like every time I am taking pics she is shedding. I only have a trio of adult breeders now, I sold some in 2003 and 2004 to make room and just kept my favorite three. My buddy has about 10 though. Out of both clutches from this female this year I got 13 MSP and 10 Leonis, most of them could be keepers if I really had room (and time). I like a nice MSP and even bought a "couple" nice ones from Bruce Skipper this year to add new genes to my mix. I couldn't pass up the hot colors, about equal to my best ones (but, like I said, new genes).
That white Leonis is better than the one I got from this pair last year. I was still kicking myself for selling him, now this guy comes along and is even better. I'm a sucker for the hot orange ones but I really like this guy too. Here's an old pic of mom and a new pic of dad.

and those three explain all you need to know about why I'm such an MSP freak. But I know........... you can't keep them all.

Nice Rick
