Help getting the uro out of her hide

vamppire Oct 01, 2005 04:25 PM

To make a long story short, I need to get my juvie uro out of her hide. She is sick and needs treatment, but she rarely comes out on her own due to her not feeling well, and I cannot figure out how to get her out. Its a low hide (about an inch or so high) that is built into the enclosure. Shes about 4 inches deep into it right now. Its a rough texture so its not easy to just slide her out. Any prodding just scares her even more into the hide.

Any methods to urge a uro out of the hide? Thanks.

Bright colored flowers, maybe? As a policy, I don't allow anything into the cages that an animal could lodge itself in for these reasons. Everything is disassembleable in my cages, so worst case is I take a few layers apart, lift up a tile, etc. Once you do get it out, I'd securely cover that space and rethink the hide.
