But I always wanted one with Retic eyes, and in case you wish the same, meet Hagrid my Burm-Retic cross. Enjoy.

Great looking animal! Are these hybrids genetically proven? Can a couple of these produce young and will they look the same?
And my last question...are they expensive?

Well, I'd say so. I offered him 2k for this snake and he turned it down. Yep, Hagrid is one of the better looking bat munchers I have seen. I really don't like the "anaconda-like" bats at all.

Please mail me your info on cmkooi@everyday.com

Thanks!

"Genetically proven" doesn't enter into it. You're crossing two species. Of course it's genetic.

However, if I'm not mistaken, Borneo Bat Eaters are usually infertile with their own kind. They can usually be bred back to burms or retics, though.

Cost of babies is $1500 and up.

Sweet god! that is a gorgeous snake. How much are they going for and congrats!

it looks like the Burmese from Hell (tm), the Official Snake of the Apocalypse.

I've never been so jealous of another man's snake before. (Which reminds me of a story somebody told on Letterman about showering with Shaquille O'Neil, but never mind...)
