From all I've been able to find out, their lifespan is 5-8 years.

Here in the Netherlands i know some boddy that has a male that is 10 jrs and a female that is 13jrs so he says!!

That's entirely possible, The averages I gave are for "wild" lizards. It is reasonable to assume that they would live longer in captivity with ideal care.
I know a few people with collareds 9 years of age, and I myself have a few that are atleast 8 years and still going strong!
