my female she d on september 1st and now i went to get her out and wiegh her and her eyes are turning blue. that meens she would be shedding a little over a month later than the last one. could this be a POS? sh'e 8 pounds and i heard 10 pounds is a good wieght. would this make a major problem?

Have you had her with a male and seen copulation? Boas will shed for many reasons. One being if they are sick. Another reason could be she had a large meal. And yes she could be having a POS as well. Did you see her ovulate?
lol. i messed up.would that posiibly be a pre ovulation shed? i remember reading somewhere that a female will shed before emitting her smells to get the males rialed up, how true it is i don't know. no i havent had her with my male but i heard they can retain sperm. i never feed my boas to large a meal. you can barley see it when they eat. i did have to get her out twice to aply mite removing medicine to her and the cage, and she isnt the most willing boa in the world either.
