Hi. I just want to commend you on your devotion to all of your animals, and the way you care for them. I myself have a hard time keeping up with everything I need to do, and I don't even have half of what you do. Well, that's all. I just wanted to say that. Thanks for your time.

Poohbear,
Thanks alot for your kind words. It meants a lot when someone compliments they way you take care of your animals. I try to provide the best possible life for every single animal I keep,(even the crickets are spoiled). Because they dont have a choice in anything, they are at the mercy of their keepers. And the saying ,treat others the way you want to be treated, well that goes for all living things, it will all come back to you in one way or another. Another important aspect in animal husbandry is sharing your wealth of knowledge with others. Its important to teach others good husbandry practices and help when they have questions.Animals, nature, wildlife , its all the things I love most in this world, so I'm going to do my best to provide for them. Anyways I just wanted to say thanks and now I'm rambling. lol

peace,
nathan

it litterly takes this guy about 30 seconds to fall asleep on me. He first crawled inder my chin and tryed to wrigle his way closer but it tickled to much so I had to move him. He slept in this spot for 2 hours without moving.

hey, I tend to ramble when complimented - uh, and even when I am not! ;-/ lol!

In all seriousness, you have a real positive approach and hit the nail when you say "Because they dont have a choice in anything, they are at the mercy of their keepers." is so true and I think too many folks forget that they take on the responsibility of a LIFE when they buy or adopt an animal. It may be a different type of life, but the responsibility is no different than a child (I know I will get a lot of flack for that b/c people will think I am comparing animals to children - I am not (well, may SOME kids!) but a life is a life. If it has a central nervous system, then it can feel pain, thus - no difference in my mind.

I had to smile when I read your comment about spoiled crickets! lol! Same here! They, the roaches, the silkies - everyone in my house gets equal care - I just don't let the 6-leggers sleep with me - they don't cuddle too well

keep up the positive approach - it is contagious

I guess thats just how I am ,possitive about everything. But its especially important when something elses life depends on it.

I mentioned my crickets get spoiled too, so do the roaches. I only have a small breeding group and i dont even feed any off to dragons. I go over to one of my friends houses who has a much larger colony, and just take some from him! , lol. oh well. I have rats that Im breeding and I havent feed off any, partially because they are blue hooded and blue masked. And because I proved that they are recesive. anyways. thanks again!

peace,
nate
