eatinmachine Oct 02, 2005 09:55 AM

I was going through on feeding and water change this morning and in my ball pythons cage who is about2 years old and in his water bowl is a lot of white specs. IT isn’t poop I know this. But could it be sperm but I am not 100 percent sure on the gender. ALso another complet;y different question is when my bp sheds teh skin never totally come off of teh spurs like it will be a perfect shed except that it is very small pieces of skin stuck on the spurs am I supposed to leave it or take it off?

very common for snakes to defecate/urinate in their water bowls.

Sometimes I think I should put a little toilet seat on my water bowls.... There can be little wisps of it floating in the water if the animal has just defecated or dropped a uric acid lump. The stuff doesn't always harden quickly in water.
