It was pretty cool, actually. I heard from a friend that it was better than the Richmond show last week. It was still not as big as I had hoped, but I guess it was large for a mainly herp show. I got to see a piebald ball python, which was being sold for $12,000.

Being a gecko guy, I was constantly overlooking all the snakes (there were miles and miles of snakes) to find the geckos. It would have been a good show if I had needed a baby albino or normal, but there were few larger geckos worth it there. We saw zero fattail geckos at the show. There were a number of baby viper geckos, selling for $35, but we don't have time for them right now, so we decided to wait.

We didn't see Glades Herp, which were supposed to be there, I believe. We ended up purchasing some heat tape and connectors, 500 crickets for $8 and a Reptiles Magazine renewal for 2 years/$28.

All in all I guess it was a great show, but with the overabundance of snakes, I was left empty handed gecko-wise. Doug Barr was there, with is awesome herpcages.com cages, but again, we couldn't seem to figure out where one would fit in for us.

There was a clown, which my wife wanted to punch, because she hates clowns, and a baby tiger, which you could get a picture with for a $10 donation.

Glades Herp apparently had an accident on the drive up...totaled their van from what we heard after asking where their table was when we did not see it setup at the show.
