Aptors & carrothead/carrot reverse striped the same thing ??????????

Picture one is i found on the web marked down as a (carrthead/carrottail reverse striped).Picture two is one of topshelf exotics stunning (aptors).Is a (aptor) basicly a (carrothead/carrottail reverse striped) if not whats the difference ? sorry i can't see it they look the same to me.If there not the same this is going to be very confuseing stuff in the future .

That is actually suspected by a few breeders...so you're not crazy!

The problem is, no one is really sure what the "new patternless" gene is. I can think of at least one breeders who produced some very APTORish babies without actually breeding an APTOR. His baby was produced by crossing a Stripe x Reverse Stripe.

He is testing this out, but it seems the stripe and reverse stripe are the keys to a polygenic trait - the so called "new patternless". I prefer the other name - "patternless stripe"

Those two animals pictured are not the same, but close

Many beleive patternless stripes & reverse stripes to be the ingredients behind the APTORS. Time will tell...

And yes, I do believe this theory as well.....
