Well about 8 days ago I got my first Ball Python!

I got him from a friend who has about 4 ball pythons, all were currently shedding, but they, including mine, were'nt shedding in one peice. They didn't even seem to try to shed, it was just all coming off into peices. So here is my ball python, still shedding off into little peices. And I'm becomign worried. I've given him 2 warm baths and tried to remove some skin. He has alot gone but his neck and his head still need to be shed. He has skin on his eyes. And a little bit on his nostrils. And his neck needs to be shed.

I'm worried that hes going to be like this for weeks. I don't want to do anyhting to upset him or have him bite me though. He hasn't shown any sign of agression yet lol. And thats how I'd like to keep it. But any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Depending on the size of the snake take a warm wet towel or wash cloth - place the snake inside for a few minutes cover up and let it just sit inside. The humidity will help loosen up the skin. After a few minutes you can either coax the snake to wriggle through the towel to remove the skin or you can take part of the towel and gently rub the skin off. Be gentle and rub from head down. If you don't get it all off that is ok do the best you can. Next time he sheds be sure that you have some high humidity and he should shed fine.

Do you think he'll be fine with this, and wont get upset and bit or anything?
