Building a new habitat for an adult water dragon....input needed

hunterjackson Oct 02, 2005 10:31 PM

Well i am building a new habitat for my adult female water dragon, she's pushing 40 inches total length, she's a huge girl. She likes to bang her nose, so im building it 6 ft high X 3 ft X 2 ft. I wish i could make it wider, but i cant get it in my house.

Any one have any thoughts on the inside, like what to put in it? The outside is giong to be fully furniture quality. Im using hardware cloth for her to climb, as she really likes to climb when having free roam. and just wandering what types of trees, bases, etc to put in there.

Any input on that and anything else would be helpful. We have the plans for the cage all drawn up, and we have already built the base and have a work day tomorrow.

Thanks so much!
Hunter

I would suggest that you build it to brake down into panels so that you can easily move it. it may take a little more effort but you will definetely be happy that you did.
