I am getting a trio of desert iggy's in a month or too and I need a checklist on what to get for them.Can desert ig's become tame?And are they easy breeders?

They can tame down nicely and will breed--- but they need LOTS of running room. A few flat rocks, lots of gritty sand, a few branches to climb & a method/ place to tunnel are a must. They can be flighty as they are some "haulers of ask" in the desert flats they call home. Too much handling increases the chance of a busted tail too. Also-- this time of year-- they might decide to go into brumation. That means they might sleep from now until March and that is normal. They can be kept in a darkish room w/ temps from 55 -70 F for several months with no ill effects--if they are healthy !
