I really enjoy looking at pictures people take of their different animals. I think snakes can be so photogenic. Have you seen some of the Green Tree Pythons that have been produced lately? Anyway, I love the way these came out. If you've got some nice pictures of your animals, please share. Enjoy!

Mike,
...Great looking hypo. Your earlier post about hypos has me completely confused. The adult hypo here looks like the East Bay hypo line but your earlier PICs look very different. If you were to caption your PICs and tell what each PIC shows it would make it easier for my old mind to figure out.

Mike,
. .I too enjoy looking at PICs of snakes. I especially like boid PICs. IMO baby yellow phase GTPs are the most amazingly beautiful animals on earth.
. .You always see posts where someone says the camera does the snake no justice. With these PICs of a pair of my Marajo Island Rainbow Boas, Epicrates cenchria barbouri it is the other way around. These two snakes are attractive but they are not quite as colorful as they look in these PICs. The two snakes were together in a holding box while their cage was being cleaned. I will seperate them soon and reintroduce them later in the year afer they have been cooled for breeding. The male is the smaller more colorful of the two. The first PIC show his head. The second PIC shows the female's head. The female is very big and heavy. I have another female that is darker than these two snakes and she has big solid black spots on the sides with virtually no crescents at all.

Jeff, you shouldn't have said anything. Those pictures are gorgeous. They remind me of the Picture in Richard Ross' Python and boa husbandry bood of the Peruvian Rainbow. I love those reds.

Slacker, the animal does look a little dark but that sheen is awesome. It makes me remember why I fell in love with this species in the first place.
