I cant seem to find much info on these guys...
Are there different variants of these in isolated populations??
I can think of at least three locales of the Texas Bairds with at some variation in color or patterning.

Different variants? Well yes, Texas and Mexican. LOL Sorry, but I think people take this color thing a little too far, but that is just me. Since I don't live in Texas or Mexico, I have no idea if you see color variations by local.
