Hey guys, hadn't posted in a while and I've been waiting for this guy to settle in and ditch his dark colors (stress) so I could snap some pics. The sun wasn't really cooperating much, but some of them turned out ok. He's got thick chocolate colored saddles atop a canvas/purple base with light purple laterals and deep purple side medallions. He's got a 7-8 saddle pronounced red tail and an intensely purple head. Watcha think of "The Purple Prince"?
I hope to pair him with Rose in a few years. They've got almost the same pattern but she's pink and he's purple. He's got the more colorful and larger side medallions and a better tail too. But she's cleaner with larger peaks on the thick "guyana" type saddles. I think both are excellent representatives of their home country and when and if I manage to coerce them into breeding, the babies should be spectacular!
