Is there any way I can feed my leos wild crickets and or wild red worms???
You can but its not good for them because the chances of it carrying parasites is very great.
I was told by a pet store employee that it was not good to feed wild crickets, but red worms are much safer to use...
There could be pesticides in the ground you are getting the bugs from. I used to catch crickets and worms to feed my toads when I was a really young kid, and it was pesticides that ended up killing a few of my toads. Just something to think about.

I think I am going to take the safe route and just buy the crickets and mealworms. The only reason I wanted to catch them is because my parents were getting tired of buying crickets for me... but I am gonna get a job soon and it will be fine. Thnks for the input.
I figure since you said that you do not currently have a job that your perents purchased your Leo for you-is this correct?
If so- Didn't they figure that it was going to have to eat?
Were they informed that this animal must have live insects to live and also that leos can live up to 20 years with optimimal care?
I can undestand you wanting to try and ease up on their responsibilty for buying your Leos food-but I would not suggest using anything wild caught-it only takes one bad bug-whether it be pesticides or parasites to hurt or even kill your leo
Maybe you can arrange to do a special chore during the week in exchange for the crickets that your Leo needs until you can get an outside job
also mealwoms are great for leos and they last alot longer-you can buy them by the 100"s and they don't chirp!!
just my 2 cents
