Have you checked the classifieds lately?
I saw a few offered a couple months ago.....
Or....You can go out to West Texas around El Paso and find the best looking sockheads around. Some of my favorites as well....maybe I should take a trip out west and find some one day.....

Here are the best ones I have so far....Not sockheads in my book, but real nice....
These are double hets for hybino, ghost and snow produced by Don Shores.....
Here is a 2004 DH hybino female (the closest thing to a sockhead I have...but not quite like the ones from El Paso)

This is a 2005 DH snow male

And a 2005 DH ghost male

All of these have parental roots in Arizona.....
I know these were not what you were looking for, but I wanted to share anyway.....LOL

Thanks for looking,
John Lassiter

those are some NICE looking animals you have there. most of the "sockheads" people have are yellow and whatnot around the lip. ive only seen one with NO yellowing until about an inch behind the jaw, and i dont think i will ever get one as nice as that. perhaps i will have to take a trip down to arizona sometime hahaha. thanks for the pics.

But Don Shores said that the hypo and albino splendida came from New Mexico, not Arizona.

Yep, great snakes in west Texas! Here's my newest aquisition, photos courtesy of John Lassiter. Thanks Joe for the pointers! I'm as happy as a little girl! It may have what not on the lips, but yellow it is definitely NOT!

I'm happy too. My female is doing good (she was hungry) and the little Hog is still alive. Sorry we didn't find you an alterna, but really need to spend more than a few hours looking.

I'm not disappointed, just have anoyher excuse to go again! Glad to hear the hognose is still alive, hope it makes it. Yes the male ate a colored hopper right off the bat, as well as the glossy. Next time hours and days will be spent when the alterna is targeted. Dammit, now i need a female! LOL!

we'll get you a female from there. And of course you can get a female if mine breed for me, which they should.
I'm going to work on a pair from another locality, some of the best in Texas bar none, and it's not El Paso. Might have to be next year though.

Oh, they'll breed all right, of that i have no doubt! I may even sneak off one more time for a rocket shot for one last attempt for alterna of the month! LOL! This guy is a pig! And the Kansas glossy too! By the way it is a Kansas, so make that 7 off the list! Man, I'm in the mood for some Chinese food now!
