NEW TO THE FORUM NEED HELP!!!

jag Jul 20, 2003 10:33 AM

OK right now some might know me from teh leo forum. Well lastnight my boyfriend decided he wants a crested gecko (I have no problem with that), but I would like to learn more about them before he/I get one. I currently have 3 leos (1.2). I hear that cresteds are easier to take care of than leos, is this true? What is also a good website for care? Also what is the best size tank for lets say 2 crested geckos? He will be taking care of them but he is suppose to go to the CHP academy in Oct. or Jan. So I will be taking care of them then. I also have to take in his rat also. I shall have a zoo lol. Thanks for any help.

Hi, i must say cresteds are amazing! There are many very knowledgable people on this forum that i'm sure can give you great tips......my only advice.......they jump hehehe. Zeek, my crested, loved to show off his leaping skills any time i opened his home to clean, feed etc. With time though, he's become accustomed to me and doesn't do it as much. I too have leos but Zeek seems to have alot more personality, even my parents (who aren't fond of lizards) really like him. I'm sure you'll love the new addition

Keep us all posted

Hey, crested geckos are great as Red pointed out. They are easier IMO then leos because they do not need as much heat and they feed better . Anyway send me an e-mail (up top) and I will send you a full care guide. Should have allll the info you need. Best of Luck.
