Ive made a few posts about me "odd" chameleon. im concerned his unorthadox behavor will result in a shortend life spand and most of the answeres to the questions i ask are genral ones such as cage size and feeding. his cage is large, clean, and it has the proper heat and uvb light with many live plants driftwood and climbing vines. sence hes taken to excapeing ive fixed the lock on his door but now he jsut attaches himself to the screen obvously very stressed untill i open it. in response to this ive made a sort of "out of the cage" home useing cable wire attached to the various hooks on our cieling for hanging plants (this is equiped with a heat light) yet theres no door on our bedroom and he inevidably goes to our iguana cage, gets inside and posisions himself about a foot away from him, he even will follow him when he moves. also ive baught a 7 month old female to attempt to breed him (also thinking he may be sexualy frusterated and serching for a mate). the female is receptive but whenive introduced her to his cage he attempts to EAT her. yes....eat her as in shoots out his tounge and hits her in the face even though shes much to large to actully be eaten by him. he has done this 2wice. the final odd piece of information is that sence about 2 mothns after weve had him 9hes about 8 months old and very healthy by the way) hes had some of his vibrant colors stuck on him such as a spot near his neck and a few blotchs along his spine. should i take him to a vet? is he jsut out of his mind? if anyone else has had a similar experiance or any advice please reply
