Reporting a pet store

How do I go about reporting a pet store?

Although I should be the last one to do this seeing as my chams are in such bad shape. But I visited a large pet store today and they had a tank of 3 week old baby veileds and the bottom of the tank was filled with muddy water with dead crickets floating in it. There was another tank with 1 veiled, possibly a month to a few months old and the tank was only 15 inches tall and it had a bowl of water.

Any info on how to go about this would be great.

Not all pet stores go out of their ways to abuse their pets. Often it's simply that they don't know the proper husbandry for keeping chameleons.
Try explaining the proper husbandry for keeping veileds. Keep in mind that most reputable breeders would reccommend keeping small veileds (less than 3 months) in an all glass enclosure. Any older than this, and they should go into ALL SCREEN enclosures.
Also, keep in mind that these pet shops are usually MANDATED by local authorities to keep bowls of water for ALL their animals, chameleons included. That bowl of water may not be ignorance on the pet shop owner's part, but simply him trying to comply with a silly local ordinance.
Like I said, talk the the shop owner and express your concerns.
.... ermmmm..... didn't I see your veileds in an all glass enclosure?

Yes, you did see mine in a tank, and that's not the only part about it that was crazy. The 3 week old baby chams tank was full of muddy water, there were even dead crickets floating in it. It to be at least an inch of mud and water. But I will speak with the owner or possibly a manager or something.

BTW my fresh air enclosure is on its way, should be here by Friday.

That type of care is not only incorrect for chams, but is inhumane and unsanitary. You would probably have a choice of reporting to your local animal control or city health department. Depending on the city (I assume you are in a metro area?) different departments are responsible for inspecting pet shops. Call the city offices and find out who does it. Then report the shop for unsanitary conditions, inhumane treatment, and cruelty.
