I put them in the incubator, after she was done. I will let you know the results when they hatch.

Hey,
Fantastic, they look like Bangka's to me. Are they? Wonderful news. All the best with the egg's.

Hey,
Well, obviously if there is no collection data on these guys, the only thing that can be said at this juncture about this pair, is that they are at least phenotypically very similar to the Bangka local type, and or Malaysian, but I'm putting my momey on the Bangka local from the looks of these guys. One thing though, what are their heads like in person, compared to other bloods if you have others to compare them to. Are their heads narrow, and also, what is the demeanor on this pair?

Their demeanor is excellent!
They (parents) are CBB offspring. The long story short my friend partnered with another guy and bought 10 offspring off a lady in AZ if I remember the state correctly. He kept a pair, parted with the rest. That was in 99/2000 I believe.
Anyways, my friend moved to NYC to get his PhD in molec.systematics/herpetology this past summer. He didnt have room or time to take them with him, so I got them as well as a few other new collection members.
I honestly could not tell you what is "narrow/wide" in relation to a bloods head dimensions. My scope of interest/interaction with bloods, and short tails for that matter, has been limited.
I am a Retic breeder predominately, and have just this year began working with brongersmai. These are my only adult pair, though I also received 2 sub-adults in the move as well..
I will say its nice to work with a smaller python once again. I will never go as far in depth with bloods as I have retics, but they are enjoyable.

Nicely said. Thanks for the reply. They are awesome bloods and I wish you a fine hatch. Keep up updated on hatch date.

Hey,
From spring till now, that is one long time period from conception (ovulation) to egg laying. Interesting!

Bloods were cycled seperately for 6 wks prior introduction. I put them together in late March, took the breeding pics in May, they bred frequently during this period. In addition I maintained elevated humidity levels through out this primary breeding period.
I seperated the male from her in mid June, re-introd the male in late July for a week, though I did not see breeding then.
I never saw her ovulate, so I do not have an actual date of follicle release for conception/fertilization. Fertilization from stored sperm is indeed a very viable explanation for this clutch.
