Hi
Please could someone help me out
How do you tell the difference between a captive and a wild crocodile – apparently there is a physical difference?
Thanks

Hello Dominic,
Alot will depend on how long the animal has been a captive but often yes it is possible to hazerd a reasonable guess. Captives tend to be rather pudgy and often have differing head and jaw shape. This is not a hard and fast rule however as animals can be raised using a variety of methods that don't always produce these characteristics.
