Hi there,

I can't see how it's possible that your animal has eaten once a week for almost a year and has never pooped. How big is your ball python?

Thanks, Christy

here some to check, the next time the python sheds check the shed skin, just about every tiime mine sheds he poops during the shed and the poop is wrapped up in the shed skin...... he also poops more than when he sheds but but i though a few weeks ago he had not pooped in a while it was in his skin shed and i didnt notice it.... but i dont see a snake not pooping since novemeber.
also you might want to check in his bedding, if you are using a shredded wood, mine wil "dig" in to the bedding to poop.

When they are ready to go you see a soft mass inside them near the tail.

You can soak the snake in tepid water to make them go.

Also, when I probe mine they crap on me everytime..like clock work..but maybe you'd better wait on that one for a bit.

Regards,
Alan
