Anerythristic 277 alterna...............

swwit Oct 04, 2005 12:43 PM

Here's a anery 277 that I hatched out a few weeks ago. I'll include some sibling pics to show how the babies varied in the clutch. The clutch consisted of 8 eggs (2.6). I hatched out another anery a few years back but it had died at about ten monthes old and I had not bred the two parents since because of other interests that didn't allow me the time for any breeding. The anery is a female. She has a slight stub it the end of her tail.

Is it just my monitor or is there some orange in there, just washed out?
Just curious,

I know what your referring to. Where the black meets the gray it is a different shade. It appears to be the black and gray bleeding together. It gives an almost salmon colored look to it. Kind of like what the anery hondurans color is like but it seems to be more of just an effect of the two colors meeting.

Anery hondos are actually hypoerytheristic....Not anery......If there is any red pigment at all....it is not anerytheristic.....
Just my opinion.....erytherisms are responsible for red pigment....as i have been told....

I'm not going to argue the fact. But this snake is an anery just like the one I hatched out a few years back.
