Going CB satanic rates

insular_exotics Oct 04, 2005 05:13 PM

HI guys!
I was contacted by e-mail about baby satanics (wish I had some to sell). Anway, the followup asked what they would run these days. Any ideas? Also, any pointers to people with some FS would be helpful as I haven't seen them on the classifieds.
Thanks

yea, i seem to get some emails thru this place here asking if i have any offspring to sell. and its always phantasticus they're looking for. basically everyone gets the same answer too, "im not selling any of my offspring." so anyway, they're only really available time to time, so people either get them from neil, or someone cutting them out of their collection (in which case many still seem to come from neil). as for pricing, i would say anyone who has some clout would be able to sell them in a $200 range seeing as they arent commonly sold CB. and of course yur references would be able to tell people that your animals are well worth the price you're selling them at. youll see some captive bred/captive hatched youngsters go around the $150 range, but that could just come from some random guy at some pet store who happened to be passing along a female that laid eggs. but i would say to sell CB offspring at better prices you've gotta be dealing with your own animals (not just reselling someone else's offspring), and make sure they're a little bit older and well started. and in my opinion if youve got a satanic that looks real unique you'll possibly find someone willing to pay a little more for something like that.

but id just like to add that i dont like the idea of putting crazy price tags on animals. i honestly think you should ask a reasonable price for what your animals are worth. obviously worth more than any fresh import, but nothing like double that value.

ya get what i mean?
