Needing help from big breeders or (kinda long, big pics too)

tailswithscales Oct 04, 2005 05:32 PM

anyone that knows color morphs really well. I would really like to know if I have any morphs or just really gorgeous normals. Almost all of the snakes were shedding when their pictures were taken so they are dingy and in no way vibrant.

Male #1 - Is supposed to be a black back, banded, reduced pattern, and he has a very light yellow belly.

Male #2 - Is supposed to be a black back, reduced pattern, Axanthic (supposedly).

Female #1 - Is supposed to be a black back, banded, reduced pattern, and she has a banana yellow belly.

Female #3 Is high yellow but has white spots on her sides.

Females #4-7 - I was told they look like granites. I'm not sure what a "granite" ball python looks like though.

Female #8 - Is just a beauty in my eyes! Not sure if there is anything special about her.

They all look like normals to me. The first three may be considered reduced pattern by some - others have a more strick definition of the term - I don't see any blackbacks or granites but #7 down looks really thin is he eating ok? As far as I can tell, you have a nice varied collection of normals.

Number #7 was a little thin in that picture. I took it a few days after I received her (04/29/05). I was missled on her weight by the place I bought her from, but I am happy to say that she has put on over 350 grams since I got her. She weighed about 450 grams when I bought her and was told she was a 900 gram female. I bought her and female #6 six from the same reptile company and was told that F6 was 1200 grams and F7 was 900 grams. I would really like to slander the company I bought them from but I won't.
Thank you for looking.

?

don't know who's been telling you about black backed reduced pattern whatevers......but they can't be all 3 at the same time....

black backs have black stripes.....none here do

closest I see here in these normals is the bandings going on a little.....

?.......

.......good luck............

I only paid $100.00 for both males, and the only female in my group that I paid for was the high yellow Female (F3). I got her from Crystal Ball Pythons.

I'll change my website a.s.a.p.! I am happy with all my very pretty normals.

I would like to know how you can tell if you have a true Yellow Bellie? F1 has a banana yellow belly with zero white on it. She is in shed right now (go figure) but as soon as she sheds or tongiht I'll try to take pictures of her belly.
Thank you all for your imput.
