Just out of curiousity, any ideas on one of the largest florida indigo in captivity and/or wild? I've heard of some extra massive indigo's and I want to see them with my own eyes or even a picture.

20 years ago, outside Philadelphia, a friend of mine and I saw what I thought was a black python in a cage at a dealer. I figure it was a good 9', maybe a bit more, with a head 4-5" long. It was a Florida Indigo. As a long time python person, I'm pretty good on guessing lengths. Wish I could remember who the dealer was....
Probably Jay Jacoby.

I've been reminded now of where that was. It was Hank Molt's place, so you know how long ago THAT was, lol
It was at Jay Jacoby's place called Reptiles Unlimited on York Rd in Willow Grove, And yes, "Hugo", was 9 ft long and a monster! I worked a while at the store with Jay and remember that snake well.
Ok, that makes sense. It was a smaller town than Philly. And yes, it was huge....
