To make a long story short, I just recieved this wc monitor that is thin and has roundworms. Here is the take on the situation from thoughts that came to mind. If a monitor is completely wormed and fed frozen rodents(thawed of course), then chances are that the rodents' parasites are killed due to the freezing process. If this is continued then chances are high that the monitor will remain parasite free. But the minute I decide to buy a store bought prey item that will start the whole process of parasites all over again. So, what would the point of worming be if they are just to recieve them all over again? As with dogs, yes they can live with them, but they will grow alot healthier without them. What's your take on this?
Thanks

I bought a WC adult blackthroat that had tape worms out the ying yang(you get the picture),Two doses of droncit and he never got them again.I don't see the point of feeding live rodents,my monitor would much rather NOT have to work hard for a meal. Also mice are about .50 cent(not the rapper) online.Live mice is a crap shoot, most don't have worms but why take the chance.Medicine is hard on the monitor's system."Deader is better" to steal someone's(mice on ice) slogan.
