BRB Litter This Morning.

Jeff Clark Oct 05, 2005 07:28 AM

...The snake that was the subject of my 29 August post entitled "Expecting" laid her babies this morning. There are 17 healthy, 1 deformed, 2 stillborn and 5 slugs. I took some photos and will try to get them posted later today. Just a couple more litters to go this year.

how you think they should be about due and the babies are still over a month away? I'm still waiting on my last litter and she's showing no signs of being ready (or in any hurry for that matter)

Congrats on yet another good litter!!

Dave,
....Thanks. In past years I have been deadly accurate at predicting when most litters were going to come. This year they all have had me guessing. This one was so late that I was worried about her. It is turning out to be a good year but sure has been unpredicatble. Good luck with your last litter.

....Looking these over today it looks like all of them have much better crescents than their mother. All of my breeder males have big bright crescents.

Here are some of them after they were placed in trays. Soon after this PIC was taken several of them were placed in small individual boxes and had their first pinky rats.

My favorite pics are like yours....gooey cuddled within the Mom's watchful eye.
