Do you know anything about the zonata populations in south western WA. I've been really interested in these but can't find the darn snakes. They are only found in two counties, I've talked to locals but most have never seen/heard of the things exept a local I found at one of the bars said he has seen them looking for mushrooms, this however I question because I doubt he was eating the chantrels.

Contacting Ernie Wagner, hes in Olyimpia, I believe. I worked at the zoo, Woodlawn Park, at the time he was curator. I believe he had some and possibly collected them, not exactly sure.
